If you're interested in joining PRSA nationally and locally, as part of the Volunteer chapter, you may contact our 2009 president or Membership Committee Chair for more information. Download more information about membership and a membership application.Volunteer chapter dues are $45 and should be included in your payment to the national PRSA organization when joining.
Joining PRSA and the Volunteer Chapter
Visit www.prsa.org, select the membership tab from the top of the page, and choose "Join PRSA" from the membership box on the left-hand side of the page. Create a login ID and either complete the membership application online or mail or fax your application following the instructions provided.
Renew / Reinstate Your Membership & Update Contact Information
Visit www.prsa.org, select the membership tab from the top of the page, and choose "Renew", "Reinstate Membership" or "Update Contact Information" from the membership box on the left-hand side of the page. If you have misplaced or forgotten your MemberNet ID and password, contact a member services representative at the number provided.
Update Your Membership Profile and Win
Members who take a few minutes to help PRSA update their job title, organizational setting, industry and area(s) of specialization will be randomly selected each month to receive gifts, including a $100 Amazon gift card and items from the PRSA Store. Members can update their demographics information at MemberNet
Dues Renewal with Quarterly Payments
Members have the option of renewing with quarterly payments. For more information click here. To sign up for this option, which is mentioned on all dues invoices, members should email Jackie Gonsalves or call her at 212-460-1492. The option is not available through online renewal. (the quarterly payments option is not available for members who are joining.)
Hardship Plan for Renewing Members who are Unemployed
This plan - whereby qualified member receive a one-time reduction in their National dues - has been announced to members who are unemployed, are up for renewal, and have been members for five or more years. Chapters who wish to reduce their dues and have not already done so are asked to contact Eileen Lintao, Member Services manager, with their rates or for questions, at Eileen.Lintao@prsa.org or

Subscribing to PRSA Volunteer Chapter Listserv
Send an email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UTK.EDU with the message "subscribe prsatalk ‘your name'" in the subject and body of the email. (Ex., subscribe prsatalk John Doe) You will receive a confirmation email letting you know that you are now subscribed to the listserv. You will also receive instructions on how to send a message to other members of the listserv, how to unsubscribe, and other helpful functions.
