About this event

Dollywood Banner

Join us at Dollywood in April! Dollywood is the No. 1 theme park in the United States. The Dollywood Company prides itself in giving back to the communities that so graciously support us. The organization's core values call us to serve others.

East Tennessee’s own Dolly Parton has been sharing her gifts with others her entire life. Her Dollywood Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization headquartered in Sevierville, was founded in 1988. Its original mission was to inspire children in her native Sevier County to succeed in education and to boost high-school graduation rates. Today, the Foundation’s mission is to share the life and legacy of Dolly Parton as an inspiration for children to Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More. Its flagship program, which Dolly launched in 1995, is Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which is funded by both Dolly and local community partners in all five countries where it operates. is found. The Dollywood Foundation’s Director of Marketing Tracy Long will share more about how the Imagination Library has become the highest quality, most recognizable and most effective book gifting resource in the world, trusted to inspire a love of reading among children of all ages through the inspiration of the one and only Dolly Parton.

Join us for lunch at Dollywood as we hear from the amazing people that drive the mission of The Dollywood Company.

The program will be hosted in partnership between AFP Great Smoky Mountain Chapter, AAF Knoxville, and PRSA Volunteer Chapter.

The Dollywood Foundation

Tracy Long joined the Dollywood Foundation team in 2020 and leads the Foundation’s global marketing strategy and development efforts.

Tracy Long serves as Director of Marketing & Development at The Dollywood Foundation, home of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. She leads global marketing strategy, brand alignment, and local Imagination Library partner communications—supporting growth across the U.S. and international markets. Tracy helps translate big mission moments into clear, consistent messaging for stakeholders, communities, and media. She’s deeply committed to protecting brand integrity while making it easy for the almost 3,000 Local Imagination Library partners to champion the program’s impact in the five countries the program operates. Her work often sits at the intersection of brand protection and scalable growth: ensuring Dolly’s name, likeness, trademarks, and creative assets are used appropriately while also equipping partners with tools that make telling the Imagination Library story easier. Tracy’s leadership spans campaign strategy, media and messaging, stakeholder communications, and creative execution—always with an eye toward strengthening trust, expanding reach, and keeping the mission front and center.
