Why did you choose public relations as a career?
I love people and having a career in a field that centers around connecting with people through the media is the dream! I have always been fascinated by the impact media has on the world. It’s a way for me to share what I am passionate about with people from all over. The days are never the same in public relations– solving problems is rewarding and tapping into my creativity keeps every day exciting!
Why are you a member of PRSA?
I am just starting out in my career so making connections in my local community is a critical step towards personal and professional development. There are so many valuable lessons to be learned through the shared experiences of the members of PRSA.
What is your dream PR job?
My dream PR job does not fall within a specific title or position, it is more about the relationships I develop along the way. My goal is to make such an impact that people everywhere eventually say “You need to call Ally.”
